The garden at Bastiagueiro is amazing. Small fruit trees dotted all over the place. But then there are different areas that are their own little enviroments. Top of the garden has blackberrries and apples, then walking anti clockwise.... a small forest of horse chestnuts and beds of wild strawberries. I am sure there are squirrels here but I have never seen one. Then walking down the slop there is a big eucalyptus forest on one side, (where we found the egg) on the other side are more apple trees and three enormous pines. Below start the limon orange and fig trees. In amongst all of this are hydrangeas, camellias, magnolias, to mention just a few..... it is so beautiful! Wish you could all see it!..... there is also a small herb garden.
